Polling cards seized
  259 official polling cards have been seized from Meesale postal centre in Jaffna. They were seized when being taken to be distributed for the voters. As the numbers of the seized cards have been informed to the Commissioner of Elections there won’t be any problem say sources in Department of Elections. Those who lost their polling cards will be supplied with alternatives say the Department of Elections.
