The dispute between the theoretician of Wanni tigers and political wing leader has turned into worse according to intelligence revelations of the security forces. They expose that an unfriendly conversation has taken place over the telephone between the two recently.
The reason for the latest developments between Mr Anton Balasingham and Thamil Selvam is on talks scheduled to be held in Geneva. It is reported that Wanni tiger leader Prabhakaran has pointed out that Geneva talks could be performed in Tamil as a Tamil speaking representative is participating on behalf of the Government. If it is so, the leader has advised Thamil Selvam that he could play a vital role as the leader of the team.

An extensive inquiry will be held regarding the child soldier apprehended by security forces while being deployed to launch an attack on intelligence officers of security forces said Child Protection Authority.
A spokesperson speaking to ‘Lankatruth’ said manipulating an under aged child for military purposes was violation of children’s rights. She further said tiger organization has violated the international convention on children’s rights by this act.

President Mahinda Rajapakse yesterday ruled out Tamil Tiger demands for a separate homeland in the North and East, but said he would rein in armed groups - a central rebel demand ahead of talks. "There's only one country, we can share power. Not a separate state.
That idea must be taken off... it is completely out," Rajapakse told Reuters in an interview ahead of talks with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in Switzerland. Rajapakse said he would meet an LTTE demand to rein in armed groups.
